Operating exclusively as a brokerage firm, Temptation Yacht Sales is not a new boat dealer nor do we engage in offering any “owned inventory” for sale.  It’s important when selecting whom you choose to allow the opportunity to offer your vessel for sale you consider this configuration.  A new boat dealer some may argue is mainly interested in the sale of new product or their own used boat inventory rather than the sale of brokerage inventory.  Our focus since inception in 2003 has been 100% on the marketing & sale of freshwater brokerage boats located in the Great Lakes and Midwest Regions.

We’ve developed what we believe is one of the most effective means of selling a used boat.  Our contractual terms allow our sellers the opportunity to offer their boat for sale privately while working with us and should they be successful with their own private sale they are not obligated to pay us a brokerage fee!  Our brokerage fee (as low as 5% of the final sales price) offers a significant savings from the typical 7% to 10% fee charged by many other boat brokers / boat dealers.  Our inventory selection (more than 300 brokerage vessels) offers one of the largest selections of freshwater Great Lakes boats in South Eastern Michigan.

A dynamic, comprehensive, and effective marketing package is developed to suit each of our client’s needs.   Each listing receives a (web based) full and detailed listing description, full specs summary and a minimum of 24 high-resolution digital photos (please browse our “Yachts for Sale” page to view our inventory to see how we present our brokerage listings.)  Internet advertising via all of the most popular venues such as:
